Kells Un

I decided I'd just post slightly old stuff while I'm working on these requests.
This is Kells Un, the trainer, handler, and caretaker of Fragarach Utnu! He's a fairly famous trainer in the monster fights, being known as the type of trainer to actually raise a monster from birth/hatching. He chose Fragarach's egg from a public monster fight give away when he was fifteen, and has been taking care of Fragarach ever since. He's forty years old, but looks younger because of his species, the Rancor. The Rancor are notorious thieves and liars, and because of that are not easy to find. Nobody really likes them.
Kells is the quiet type. He smokes all the times and enjoys pissing Fragarach off, doing things like blowing smoke in his face and burning where Fragarach's eye used to be with his cigarette. He's also a pyrokinetic (I believe I spelled that right...) and does what he can to help strengthen Fragarach's wind-shifting abilities with his own knowledge. He can do simple things like light his cigarette, create a thin wall of flames a couple feet wide/tall, breathe fire (the Rancor were created when a scientist screwed up while trying to genetically mutate a few baby dragons. All Rancor have the power to move/create fire with ease.) and shoot a few fireballs. He doesn't do this often, preferring to let Fragarach tear them to pieces.
He has no family that he knows of, and has never bothered to have kids or get a girlfriend. He prefers to stay away from women and has no interest in men. All Rancor leave their parents at a young age, and he left his when he was ten. His parents then split up and went their separate ways. Kells has no idea where they are, nor does he care or ever wonder. He's completely forgotten about them.
I have an actual story for how Kells gets Fragarach, so I won't mention any more here.
But Fragarach isn't a big fan of Kells. Sure, Kells raised him, but he also did a bunch of awful shit to Fragarach. Since he's only wanted to make Fragarach stronger so he could win more fights and all, he lets the people running the monster fights do whatever they want to Fragarach. They usually torture Fragarach for fun and tell him not to tell Kells. Being the obedient little slave he is, Fragarach doesn't tell Kells what they do to him and suffers because of it. Kells is suspicious, but does nothing.
Kells does care for Fragarach though, like a pet owner loves his dog. Kells is just an asshole about it.
